How Executives Can Test AI's Potential Without Risk: 🚀AI DESIGN SPRINT HACKATHON🚀

Step 1: AI Opportunity Mapping Workshop

“Fall in love with the problem, not the solution” should still be the starting point of AI adoption.

AI won't make a difference (just like any other technology) unless it’s used to solve a real problem. In fact, AI startup failure rates are similar to traditional startups, around 90%.

That said, identifying problems that benefit from AI solutions isn't as straightforward as traditional tech deployments.

We have had more or less the same tech for almost two decades, and stakeholders, product teams, and even customers are educated on what’s possible, feasible and what to expect. So they can make fairly informed decisions about where to place their bets when creating a new product.

But with AI, it's different.

Most executives are unaware of AI's capabilities and limitations, making it hard to imagine business use cases and start AI projects. They need a paradigm shift and radical thinking.

But that’s just the tip of the iceberg, as there are many unanswered questions about AI for stakeholders:

↳ What does an AI implementation look like?

↳ What does it take to scale across an organization?

↳ What risks do we need to mitigate?

↳ What are the implications for the workforce?

↳ What skills do they need?

How can we bridge this gap and help executives confidently navigate the world of AI solutions?

I’m excited to announce our next project: The AI Design Sprint Hackathon! Partnering with a top AI expert, we'll help one of our customers navigate these uncertainties and answer these questions.

A hackathon is a format that gives permission to senior executives to play the wild card, to go outside the box and test what could be possible without huge risks.

But to ensure this exploration is fruitful, we don't throw executives into the deep end.

The first step in this hackathon is strategically crucial: AI Opportunity Mapping workshop. The workshop acts as a bridge, debunking the mysteries of AI for the C-Suite team. Through this workshop, executives gain a clear understanding of AI's capabilities and how it can address their specific business challenges. Empowered with this knowledge, they can then confidently choose focus areas for their first AI solutions, which their teams will explore during the follow-up hackathon.
